Atomic Butcher: Homo Metabolicus Atomic Butcher

Atomic Butcher: Homo Metabolicus

This game is released, but still in development.

Development started in 2013 as a sequel to Atomic Butcher. As its predecessor, it stays in a post-apocalyptic, totally-over-the-top world in which you play a crazed mutant freak scourging the last remnants of society for meat. Most of said meat does not give up so easily, so it usually has to be killed first.

This can be achieved mostly using the own body (for instance, radioactive urine is always available to our hero). Apart from actual weapons that are scattered over the wastelands, almost anything you find can be used in an aggressive manner: fire, electricity, corpses of killed enemies, used up weapons, …

The game has a dedicated website and a Twitter handle. It is also listed on IndieDB.

You can buy the game for Windows/Mac/Linux on Steam!

This game is released, and will receive no further updates.

Released as freeware in 2004, this is the first game by Das Humankapital. Compared to its sequel, its pace is a bit slower. You can read all about it, and download the game at our archived site here.
